Felipe Sandoval is a Spanish and French teacher who has been tutoring and teaching languages for more than 15 years in France, Belgium, and California. Felipe was born in Chile, and after finishing high school he went to Europe to pursue his college studies. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cinema Studies and an Executive Master in Audiovisual Production in Belgium.
In a prior life, Felipe also worked as a post-production supervisor for the movie industry in Europe, and was a documentary filmmaker. He started many ambitious education projects in schools in Brussels, Belgium to teach kids documentary and feature film direction. When he came to Los Angeles three years ago, he decided to make Education his priority and became a full-time teacher/tutor.
Felipe is passionate about traditional martial arts. He strongly believes that the practice of these arts are a great way to teach confidence, perseverance, concentration, and respect, among other useful skills for life. He allows many hours per week to his karate practice when he is not teaching.
Having lived in different countries, Felipe identifies with two cultures: a Hispanic and a Francophone. Felipe is very grateful to have had the chance to integrate another culture into his life that has helped him develop an open worldview. Felipe is always happy sharing this inclusive vision with his students.
