Learning Lab

Learning Labs are a unique opportunity for students to complete some of their homework at school. To make that possible, the Learning Labs require  not only a quiet atmosphere with an understanding that they are places for students to do their  work, not to play, surf the web or chat. Students must follow these Learning Lab Norms:

Learning Lab Norms
  1. I will attend every class for Learning Lab. 

  2. I will stay in Learning Lab the entire time. 

  3. I will be respectful of others during Learning Lab block. 

  4. I will keep my voice level down during Learning Lab block. 

  5. I will stay INSIDE the classroom. 

  6. I will notify the teacher if I need to use the restroom. 

  7. I will return promptly from the restroom. 

  8. During Learning Lab:  I can work on the following:

a. I will open my missing assignments

b. I can work on my ASSIGNMENTS

c. I can READ for English, History, or free choice 

d. I can work on my PASSION PROJECT

e. I can ORGANIZE my backpack, Google Drive, email inbox 

f. I can STUDY for a quiz, test, project, IXL, Khan Academy

g. I will not play any games (Snake, Duel, Slope, Drift, Solitaire, etc.) on my Chromebook unless that game is assigned to me by my teacher and is academic in nature.
